Application Process
Overview
As a public, charter school, Excel Academy is free of charge to all families. The school is open to students from all MA school districts including Boston, Chelsea, Revere, and Everett. Any family who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply:
- The student is a resident of Massachusetts. (Note: Preference will be given to siblings of current students and to students from Boston & Chelsea.)
- Prior to August of the new school year, the student will have successfully completed 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th grade.
Application Submission
Families interested in entering our lottery for the 2010-2011 school year should download an application or pick one up in person from Excel Academy.

Information Sessions at Excel Academy
We welcome you to visit Excel Academy and learn more about our program and the lottery process. Information sessions will be held at 6pm at the school on the following dates:

East Boston YMCA: Wednesday, January 27th, 5:15-6:30pm (staffed information table)
Chelsea Boys & Girls Club: Monday, February 1st, 4:30-6:30pm (staffed information table)
Chelsea Boys & Girls Club : Monday, February 8th, 5:15-6:30pm (staffed information table)
Chelsea Boys & Girls Club: Wednesday, February 10th, 6:00-7:00pm (information session)
